Mr Simon Radley


Simon graduated in medicine from Birmingham University in 1985 and has been a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon in Birmingham for over 20 years. He has an established successful private practice. Simon is a founder and director of the Birmingham Bowel Clinic the UK’s first multidisciplinary clinic for treating bowel conditions and more recently he founded the specialist Birmingham Hernia Clinic.

Recognising that the key to developing a successful private practice was a high quality administrative service Simon founded Medmin in 2018. Since its launch Medmin have attracted both consultants new to private practice and consultants with an established private practice.

As an early adopter of website promotion and digital marketing he has recognised the importance of social media in modern private practice alongside traditional marketing methods.

Simon sees the future of Medmin as providing consultants with the complete package of secretarial, billing and marketing services.


Julie Hudson

Practice Manager

Julie qualified from Secretarial College in 1990 and began her professional career as an Administration Officer in the Ministry of Defence. She was Personal Assistant to a senior member of the military before branching off into sales and marketing. Julie held a position as Sales Office Manager for a number of years before taking a career break to focus on her children. Whilst being a full-time mum, she started her own fully certified Event Management business. After 12 years she decided to get back into administration and has been working as Personal Assistant for Mr Simon Radley since 2016. Together they observed a need for Private Practice Management within the Private Healthcare industry, and thus Medmin was established.


Megan Hudson-Cherry

Medical Secretary

Megan graduated from the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David in 2015 with a 2:1 (Hons) in Ancient History. She briefly held the elected position of Students’ Union Vice President before deciding to move home to the Midlands to pursue a professional career. Having dabbled in the academic world, retail and recruitment, she finally found her passion within the medical sector. Prior to being a Medical Secretary with Medmin, Megan worked for BMI The Priory Hospital in numerous administrative departments which enabled her to gain an excellent insight behind the scenes of a private hospital.


Julie Price

Medical Secretary

On leaving secretarial college in 1988, I started working for Dollond & Aithison Opticians as a Junior Secretary and over the 7 years whilst with D & A, moved into more senior secretarial roles eventually working for the Professional Services Director.

Following redundancy, but staying in a secretarial capacity, I briefly worked for the Technical Director at The International Convention Centre before moving on to a Medical Diagnostic Company called the Binding Site based in Calthorpe Road to work as Secretary to the Group Head of International Sales and a number of Territory Managers covering the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe & Africa.

Initially, in a full-time role and then trying to get more of a work life balance after having children reducing to part time hours.

Finally, leaving in January of 2019 after 21 years service to join the Medmin team as Medical Secretary.


We work with a number of sector professionals to offer a 360 degree service to our clients, these include both traditional and digital marketing specialists.


Keith Duddy

Digital Marketing

Keith offers digital marketing expertise to the medical profession as well as other market sectors. His agency, Dice Studio designs and builds websites, produces ongoing content for both web and social platforms, creates brands for new and established companies and undertakes digital marketing campaigns on behalf of a wide range of medical clients.


Michelle Gallinagh

GP Liaison & Marketing

Michelle graduated from Birmingham City University in 1998 with a 2:1 (Hons) degree in 
Business Administration and Marketing. Upon graduating she worked in Blue Chip organisations and the NHS before specialising in marketing and business development within the private healthcare sector.

Michelle has worked for two of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers, progressing from marketing, business development managerial roles, to managing regional GP liaison, sales and marketing teams. She has also gained extensive experience in overseeing high profile local and national marketing campaigns across various aspects of private healthcare, also gaining valuable experience in senior hospital management (SMT).

In 2009, Michelle decided to use her extensive experience by becoming a freelance marketing and business development consultant, using her skills gained within the private healthcare sector to work with niche groups of consultants and consultant groups to develop and grow their private healthcare practice.

Michelle is proud to work with consultants and organisations to expand their private practice through marketing and business development, GP targeting, event management, relationship building with key referrers, literature development , project management and new service development.
